Juan Herrera		 Juan Herrera was born in La Gomera, Canary Islands, Spain on May 17, 1953. Juan began his drag racing career in 1975 and continued until the early eighties. In this brief time period he managed to win three national championships and a second place finish. In 1980 he began to race Formula Ford 1600 winning many races. He retired from driving in 1992 and began his own racing team. From 1994 to 2000 his team raced Formula Ford 1600 as well as Formula Ford 2000. This team won many races. In 2004 Juan decided to move to the US and began working with ASF. He has been a Chief engineer for Ferrari Challenge cars as well as Star Mazda since 2004. Juan currently resides in Doral, FL with his wife Iris.
